the studio

Plural Projects is a full-service architecture and interior design studio, founded by Nicky Bruun-Meyer (MArch, OAA), with a focus on creating spaces and experiences for slower, more intentional living.

While our aesthetic is effortless, timeless, and authentic, we’re not afraid to take design risks. We create spaces that tell the story of their inhabitants, through the patterns of their daily lives, and the juxtaposition of personal objects and unique finds. We embrace a collaborative spirit with our clients, and act as a catalyst for better living. We create real spaces for real people, helping to transform our clients’ ideas into spaces that inspire.

the founder

Having trained and worked in both England and Canada, Nicky has over a decade of experience on projects at a range of scales, from single-family residential to large-scale developments. Her passion has always involved adaptive reuse, conservation, and renovation work, seeking to see our old buildings in new ways.  She believes in the motto of ‘better, not [always] bigger’, aiming to design efficiently and sustainably, finding design solutions for even the most challenging of spaces.
